Securities Trading

We buy and sell shares, bonds and other marketable securities on behalf of clients. We often invest our clients’ funds in high-yield and secure investment instruments to enable them achieve the twin goals of security of investment and good returns on investment.

Verification/Dematerialization of Share Certificates

We process our clients share certificates and verify their signatures through company registrars and subsequently dematerialise the certificates via the Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) depository

Valuation of Securities

We embark on periodic valuation (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually) of our clients’ stockholdings to enable them assess the progress attained. The valuation has proved useful to a good number of our clients for Zakat and for borrowing (loan facilities) decisions.

Receiving Agent

We collect monies from investors during primary issue of securities as a Receiving Agent. We have participated actively in the Privatization Programme of the Federal Government and other Public Issues as Receiving Agent.

Distribution Agent for FGNSB

We are accredited by the Debt Management Office (DMO) as a Distribution Agent for the Federal Government of Nigeria Savings Bond (FGNSB). The FGNSB is issued monthly since March, 2017 and our company has been an active participant.

Stockbrokers to Primary Issues

We also act as Stockbrokers to Primary Issues. We were the sole Stockbroker to the Private Placement of 2.5 Billion shares of Jaiz International Plc in 2003.

Portfolio Managers

We manage baskets of investments for clients under our Portfolio Management Scheme. This product is designed specifically for institutional Investors and high net worth individuals.

Issuing House / Financial Advisory Services

We provide Issuing House/Financial Advisory Services to organizations that seek to raise funds through the Capital Market. We also offer Advisory Services to companies on business combinations including Mergers, Take-Overs and Acquisitions.

Commodity Trading

Tiddo Securities Limited also buys and sells Agricultural Commodities on the Nigerian Commodity Exchange on behalf of its clients and on its own account. The company is registered with the Exchange as a Dealing Member.

Tiddo Securities Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company on 15th October, 1990 and commenced business operations in January, 1991. The company is a Trading Licence Holder of the Nigerian Exchange Limited, and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as Broker/Dealer and Issuing House/Financial Adviser. It is also licensed to operate as Broker/Dealer on the NASD OTC Market as well as Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE).

Tiddo Securities Limited currently has an authorised share capital of N1,200,000,000 (One Billion, Two Hundred Million Naira) made up of 2.4 Billion ordinary shares of 50k each and paid-up share capital of N1,018,160,000 (One Billion, Eighteen Million, One Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira) made up of 2,036,320,000 (Two Billion, Thirty Six Million, Three Hundred and Twenty Thousand) ordinary shares of 50k each.
